Beginning with the creation of a Master Plan for the Children’s Hospital, MorrisSwitzer was chosen to continue providing services through the implementation phases for a number of projects. Planning and design today includes a major expansion with:

Inpatient Addition

- 25 Bed Medical/Surgical Unit
The new 24-bassinet Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) design features 2-bassinet rooms, each with an adjoining 2-bassinet room to form 4-bassinet clusters. Nursing sub-stations were thoughtfully incorporated to provide a separation between individual bassinets, thus allowing families privacy and a quieter experience, often synonymous with single rooms.
